Coverage and data gaps
This release covers England's 2025 annual storm overflow inventory. Historical and recent reports appear where checked source links exist.
A point is a source record
Several records can share one map position. The total is not a count of places that people can visit.
Missing means unknown
No figure or no matched year does not mean that no spill occurred.
Nearby means distance
Area and bathing-water searches do not show where water or pollution travelled.

England is the first release
The Dŵr Cymru records here are the England portion of the Environment Agency return. The map does not cover the full networks in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.
Why recent status can be missing
A company feed can be offline or delayed. We attach recent status only after the source ID and location checks pass. Check the report time on the outlet page.
Why older years can be missing
Source IDs changed over time. We show an older row only when the outlet match is clear. We leave the year out when the match is uncertain.
